To catch up, for any newcomers- at the end of January 2024, I entered the hospital to wait for a heart transplant. On March 20th, I was told there was a heart, and surgery took place that afternoon. Due to complications, I was placed into a medically induced coma for a week. Unfortunately, they tried to wake me up but I kept sleeping for a little more than another week.
When I woke up, I had a tracheotomy tube in my throat, my legs didn’t work very well and I had no idea what was happening. I stayed in the hospital until the end of June, 2024, recuperating. I was finally able to come home using a walker.
My wife told me how she tried to keep the Titanosaur fans updated through social media. She also told me how many of you started a GoFundMe for me and contributed to it. I also received many messages of support from you all.
I was blown away. I am humbled by the help so many of you offered and gave. I never expected anything like this.
Now it is December, 2024, and I’m finally able to sing and play guitar, so I’m back at creating new Titanosaur music for your ear holes! A new song is coming Dec 27, “Rusted”, that I wrote in January. Hope you all dig it.
